Green, thick flour and spinach noodles (soba style with ramen base) served with a shoyu base cold soup and an abundance of toppings: poached egg, cucumber, fish cakes, sesame, wasabi, sweetened soy flavoured sliced beef, nori, deep-fried tempura batter bits, green onion, grated mountain potato.

Although I had a pretty substantial dinner prior to this, I couldn’t help but polish off the bowl because it was quite addictive. There was a great balance of savoury and sweet flavours, and fantastic textural contrast (despite the fact that the fish cakes tasted spongy raw vs. elasticy smooth) given mainly by the slimy creamy poached egg and grated mountain yam vs. the light and crispy tempura bits. Really very good.

A great option for those looking for a cool and satisfying option. There is more noodles than other ramens offered (apparently 190g vs 150g). There’s also an option to follow up by adding hot soup to the finished base after the noodles and toppings are consumed for a second soup finish.
