The altar of the beautiful Templo de Valenciana (1775-1788), an important example of Mexican Churrigueressque style architecture. Perched on a mountain outside of Guanajuato, Mexico, this church is also noteworthy for it’s splendid rose colored stone facade, it’s ornate gilt wooden altar pieces, as well as it’s wooden floor and 19th Century paintings.
